Training for Parents

We believe that the job of parenting is about shepherding a child's heart. The biblical methods of parenting are communication (our life as well as our words) and biblical discipline. The Bible teaches us that children are a blessing from the Lord (Psalm 127:3-5).  Parenting is to be a joy, not a burden. Success in parenting is measured by what parents do, not by what a child does. A child's most important influence must come from the parents not peers.  We have set up our Family Discipleship Ministry so that we can all grow together in honoring God in our families. We hope that you will be trained and encouraged to be God-centered, biblical parents for the sake of the next generation and for the glory of God!

• Training Seminars on Successful Christian Parenting: We will focus in on age specific parenting with seminars for infants, early childhood, grade school, and teenagers.
• Baby Dedications: Counseling and instruction for parents who desire to have their children dedicated to the Lord.
• Growth Groups:  "Shepherding Your Childs Heart" and "Tools for Family Discipleship" will be offered regularly.
