     Pastor Darryl Knappen has served the congregation at Cornerstone as Senior Pastor since October 1994.  He has pastored in Oregon, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey prior to coming to Alexandria, Minnesota.  He and his wife Pati are the parents of two young ladies. Jennifer is a trauma nurse at North Memorial Hospital and is married to Mark Paschke, a creative web designer.  Joelle is an English teacher at Centennial High School in Lino Lakes.  Joelle is married to Jared Benson, who is an accountant.  Pastor Darryl graduated from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, Oregon.                REVEREND DAVID WIDERSKI

 

 

     Pastor David Widerski joined the staff at Cornerstone on August 1, 2006.  He comes to Alexandria after serving as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Thief River Falls, MN from 2001-2006.  Prior to that assignment, he served as the Associate Pastor here at Cornerstone in Alexandria from 1996-2001.  He has also served churches in San Diego, CA; Helena, MT and Portland, OR, as well as working with Young Life Ministries for four years during college.  Pastor Widerski has earned a BA in Bible and Theology from Bethel College in St. Paul, MN and a Masters of Divinity degree from Bethel Seminary West located in San Diego, CA.  He and his wife, Cheri, have been married for 21 years and have four children: Drew, age 10; Tyler, age 8; Zachary, age 6; and Jonathan, age 3.

Paulette DeFoe (seated) serves as Administrative Assistant in the office at Cornerstone.  She began this position in March of 2004.  She works in the office on Tuesday-Fridays.  Paulette and her husband Dave are members at Cornerstone.  They have two married sons; Jason and Lauren & grandson, Anson,  from Bethlehem, GA and Dustin and Wanda from Fridley, MN.
