GROW
Once we welcome you into our home and make our initial introductions we want to invite you into the living room where we can relate at a deeper level and really get to know you and you us. Children grow best in the context of a encouraging, nurturing family. So do followers of Jesus Christ. Here at Cornerstone we have designed our growth environment to be like a living room of a home. Here it is that we gather together to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ by being taught and applying God's Word to our lives in the context of a caring, age specific setting.
A guiding verse for these fellowships is Acts 2:42ff - 'They devoted themselves to the Apostle' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer.' At Cornerstone we have these Bible Fellowships for all ages: Children Desiring GOD BF takes children from birth through age 6; Our Cornerstone Academy is our BF for Junior & Senior High Students; and we have Cornerstone Ministry Groups (currently 4) that are designed to help our adults learn and grow up as followers of Jesus Christ. All these Bible Fellowships meet on Sunday Mornings after our worship service. Please come and let's grow in following Jesus together!
At Cornerstone we desire these Bible Fellowships to provide for guest hospitality, focus on caring and sharing the love of Christ towards one another through personal prayer, meeting of practical needs, etc., and to see ourselves as a team gathered to support missionaries, provide continuing growth opportunities (retreats, camp, seminars, events) geared to the age group it represents.
