As you are continuing to connect with Jesus Christ and His people here at Cornerstone and are growing in an obedient lifestyle of following Jesus Christ we want to invite you into the kitchen. Have you ever noticed that the kitchen is the happening place in a home? The kitchen is where the most intimate conversations occur. It is where life is really lived out together. This is where we roll up our sleeves and get to work joyfully serving together. The kitchen is the environment at Cornerstone where we equip you for the work of disciple-making ministry to serve together Jesus' purposes for our neighbors and networks of relationships.
Our main vehicle for doing this is our Gospel Communities. At Cornerstone we are seeking to move people to the serve level of our disciplship process because we believe that deep and lasting transformation and life change happens in this environment. It is at this level of commitment at Cornerstone that people will be transformed in biblical community, held accountable in their walk with Jesus, and equipped to spur one another on toward disciple-making, missional living in our neighborhoods and relational networks. GC's are where we build deep, gospel-centerd community and develop gospel ministry to one another in Christ and to non-believing family, friends, neighbors, and networks of relationships. Here we commit to going hard together after Jesus Christ living as His disciples. Gospel Communities are small groups of Christians sharing their lives together and living their shared life on mission for the kingdom and glory of Jesus Christ. These small, intimate communities are formed by the gospel of Jesus Christ and exist for the gospel of Jesus Christ. These groups are designed for those who want to take Jesus, the King of Kings, seriously in every aspect of life.
Ministry Teams at Cornerstone are also designed to help you grow as a serving disciple of Jesus Christ. MT's are small groups of disciples who are called, gifted, equipped and unleashed to carry out specific disciple-making ministry towards one another within the church and to a culture outside the church.
